In this article, we will walk you through how you can configure an MX record for your domain and set up your FlockMail account.

FlockMail needs you to verify domain ownership and activate email services by setting MX records & TXT records. Please note: Unverified domains won't be able to receive or send emails. To know more about Domain Verification, click here. |
1. Log in to your GoDaddy account (click here) and navigate to Manage Domains.
2. Scroll down to the domain you want to use to send emails, click the three dots next to it, and click Manage DNS.
3. Scroll down to Records and click Add.
4. Click Type and then select MX.
5. Enter the following values (omit the quotes):
- Type: MX
- Host: "@"
- Points to: "mx1.flockmail.com"
- Priority: "10"
- TTL: Select "Custom" then enter "3600"
6. Following the same steps as mentioned above, a second MX record needs to be added whose values are (omit the quotes)
- Type: MX
- Host: "@"
- Points to: "mx2.flockmail.com"
- Priority: "20"
- TTL: Select "Custom" then enter "3600"
7. Click Add again and select TXT
8. Enter the following values (omit the quotes)
- Type: TXT
- Host: "@"
- TXT Value:"v=spf1 include:spf.flockmail.com ~all"
Done! You're all set to send and receive emails from your GoDaddy domain using FlockMail!
