Flock Mail lets you customise how you want the reading pane to appear. You can access this setting by clicking on the Gear icon>Show Reading pane on / off.
- Having the Reading pane ON (checkbox checked) shows a snippet of the email to the right.

- With the setting OFF (checkbox unchecked) you see emails in a linear flow. Clicking on the email opens the email to display the entire thread.
